Interview between me and my Royal Spyness characters.

Come and meet my characters in person! Last week I recorded an interview between myself and many of my Royal Spyness characters, as portrayed by my fabulous Audible reader, Katherine Kellgren.

This is in preparation for the launch of the book tomorrow. So click on the link and enjoy.

And if you'd like to listen to some of the audio version of Heirs and Graces, here is a link to that.

  1. What a fun interview. I can hardly wait to listen to and read Heirs and Graces!

  2. Very enjoyable and creative interview.

And I loved Heirs and Graces, and now want the NEXT book!

  3. I have to admit I don't usually listen to audiobooks but this interview was a delight. Katherine Kellgren is truly talented; each voice had such characterization. I think I'll have to "re-read" the whole series now in audiobook format.

    Thanks for this!

  4. RE: KELLGREN'S AUDIBLE READER Nauseatingly over-the-top rendition of a character the author portrays as someone with a great sense of humor, a big heart and is very unpretentious. While super-intelligent, our Georgie is not really THAT sophisticated (as per the author herself!) and has lots of spunk. So, while this voice-over actress is inappropriately heaping tons of "the ton" on this character, she is NOT portraying the Georgiana Rannoch I envision and adore.

    1. Kellgren portrays Georgie-the-narrator as considerably older than Georgie-the-protagonist. The Georgie who looks back to recount these tales may be something of a grande dame, but the younger Georgie who takes part in them, the one we hear in spoken dialogue, is not. Listen and you'll hear the difference. The younger Georgie IS unpretentious and spunky even if the older one is not!

  5. IMO KK is up there with Jim Dale. So talented!! I'm searching for other books she's narrated. And she has a huge repertoire on
